Welcome!

California Condor

The Los Padres Chapter Chapter serves California's Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. Illustrated is the California Condor, the endangered species of which our Chapter's newsletter, The Condor Call, is named after. Our mountains are the primary recovery site for this largest of all of North America's birds.

This website will provide you a guide to our activities, the issues we care about and the people who lead the Chapter and its four local Groups.

The Chapter encompasses a wide and unique diversity of natural  resources.  From our wilderness areas in the St. Ynez Mountains to the coastal beauty of "America's Riviera" we have a number of America's most special places.  Enjoy them with us and please help us save the special ones that are left.

If you need to contact somebody about a conservation issue, please get in touch with the following people; In Santa Barbara County, please contact Ed Easton @ (805) 967-1113 or at ed.easton@verizon.net and in Ventura County, please contact Alan Sanders @ (805) 488-7988 or at alancatdaddyal@aol.com.
