Harbor Wetlands Restoration Project

Details:

Join Volunteer Ventura! this fall and winter as we work to restore the Harbor Wetlands area to its native habitat and create the Ventura Harbor Ecological Reserve. Over the course of the project, volunteers ages 16 and older will remove non-native ice plant, clear a pathway to the reserve, and prepare the area for native plant reintroduction.

The Restoration Project will run from 9 am – 11 am on:

• Saturday, November 14

• Saturday, December 12

• Saturday, January 9, 2010

• Saturday, January 23, 2010

• Saturday, February 13, 2010

Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, sunscreen and plan to get a little dirty.
